Lucky Duck Villa is a unique custom home located in the upscale Maya Beach area on a huge private ocean front lot with 250 feet of frontage on the Caribbean Sea with a private pool, large private ocean pier, mature landscaping and two spacious covered palapas that are located directly on a beautiful sandy beach.

This 4 story custom beachfront estate has 4 bedrooms and 4 baths, 2 living rooms, 2 kitchens indoor and outdoor dining areas as well as several covered patios overlooking the ocean.
A brand new large covered thatch palapa next to the pool was just completed which provides the perfect outdoor dinning and living area right on the beautiful sand beach. The Villa also features an amazing covered "Eagles Nest" deck on the 4th floor that has amazing sunrise and sunset views. Each bedroom in the villa has an amazing view of the beach and the ocean.

The house is situated in the middle of the huge heavily landscaped lot behind a gated entrance to ensure the utmost in privacy. Extending from the large private lot is your own large ocean front pier with covered palapa at the end which is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the ocean breeze. The property has two hammocks that can easily be hung at the end of the pier to watch the sunrise or to take an afternoon siesta in.

Lucky Duck Villa is a certified Gold Standard Property by the Belize Tourism Board and managed by a highly respected company that manages numerous exclusive private islands and luxury waterfront villas in Placencia.

The villa is located in the quiet upscale area of Maya Beach on the Placencia Peninsula, just 6 miles North of the Placencia Airstrip. Maya Beach is a great area that provides for a very private beach setting, yet it is close to fine dining, upscale resorts and other activities. The villa is the perfect setting for you and your group to social distance and enjoy a slice of paradise.

The home comes with a dedicated team of onsite staff (that live in the separate detached staff house) to ensure it is cleaned and maintained to the highest standards and to make your stay an incredible experience.

The first floor of the main villa is a large open concept private master suite. This suite has a king-size bed in the bedroom nook, a queen-size sleeper sofa in the living room, a twin chaise lounge, and a gorgeous handmade wardrobe. It also has a small kitchenette with a refrigerator, water cooler, microwave, coffee pot, counter space, and a small kitchen table. There is also a workspace based on a hand carved desk with bookshelves and a WIFI printer. The bathroom has his and her sinks and a shower. The first floor patio opens directly to the beach, dip your toes in the water as soon as you go out the patio door. The new large thatch covered dining and living room adjacent to the pool provides the perfect cool spot to enjoy the ocean breeze and relax and have a group meal.

The second floor of the main villa consists of a private bedroom, bathroom, living room and kitchen. The bedroom has a queen size bed and a small closet to hang your clothing. The bathroom has a single sink and a small tub. The living room a twin size chaise lounge, smart TV, DVD player with movies, bookshelf with a handful of books, while the kitchen has, a stove, microwave, coffee pot, dishwasher, refrigerator, and all items needed to cook a meals. A dining room with a full size kitchen table and there is a small desk area for catching up on any work needs. There is a large covered deck with outdoor dinning area a pub table and four chairs where you can watch some of the most stunning sunrises.

The 3rd floor of the villa contains a master bedroom loft with ensuite bath, complete with a private patio that overlooks the ocean and access to a 4th floor eagles nest deck where you can gaze over the peninsula for miles, you can watch the sunrise over the ocean and the sunset over the lagoon.

Detached from the main villa and located over the garage is a private one bedroom unit over looking the ocean with a queen size bed, fully functional kitchen, with a breakfast bar, living room with a queen size sleeper sofa a TV, DVD player, a few books, a bathroom with a single sink, and walk in shower, a private patio with a pub table and amazing views of the beach and ocean.

Also located on the property is a detached caretaker house where the villas full-time caretaker lives. The caretaker house is tucked into a corner of the huge lot to ensure privacy for our guests.

ABOUT PLACENCIA
Placencia, located in Southern Belize, is the second most popular tourist destination in the country. It is situated on a 16-mile-long peninsula that is surrounded by a lagoon on one side and the Caribbean Sea on the other. It is much smaller, less congested and more laid back than Ambergris Caye/San Pedro. Being inland, Placencia provides easy access to many activities on the mainland like Mayan Ruins, waterfalls, ziplining and cave tubing to name a few. Placencia offers numerous restaurants, small shops, bars and the famous Placencia Sidewalk. It is the perfect place for an amazing Caribbean vacation!

GETTING FROM THE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT TO LUCKY DUCK VILLA
All international flights into and out of Belize are serviced through the Philip S.W. Goldson International Airport (BZE), located northwest of Belize City. Your concierge will assist with arranging domestic transportation from BZE to Placencia. There are two options:
- Travel by plane on a local commuter flight from the airport (BZE) to the Placencia Airstrip (PLJ). Flight time is approximately 30 minutes. Once in Placencia, our staff will pick you up and take you to the villa. Our concierge will work with you to book the local flights as soon as you have your international flights ready.
- Travel by private shuttle van from BZE, where the driver will meet you outside of baggage claim. The drive time is approximately 2 hours. You’ll be taken directly to the villa. Our concierge will work with you to book the shuttle van as soon as you have your international flights ready.

THINGS TO DO
Concierge service is included with your rental to assist with arranging activities for your group including spa services, excursions and various types of entertainment right at the villa. Our concierge will assist in planning and booking your activities to enable you to get the most out of your trip.

Payment Policies

A partial payment in the amount of 30% of the grand total is due no later than 1 day(s) after confirmation of intention to book or upon booking if that date has already passed. Remaining payment is due no later than 45 days prior to arrival. Upon check-in a damage deposit of $700 will be held on your card until after check-out. If the booking is made after [or within 3 days of when] the second payment would be due, then this payment will be combined and due together with the first payment.
Guest agrees that all additional services purchased through our concierge are non-refundable and will be charged to the card on file upon the booking of those services.

CANCELLATION POLICY

All amounts paid under the lease (less a non-refundable $150 booking fee) shall be refunded when Guest elects to cancel the lease at least 60 days prior to the arrival date contained in this lease. If the lease is canceled at any point after 60 days from the arrival date contained in this lease, all payments made under the lease shall be non-refundable and retained by Lessor.

Failure to make lease payments when due shall result in the Guest being in default of this lease agreement and the lease shall be deemed cancelled by Lessor if any payment due is not paid within 48 hours of the date such payment was due.

The property manager strongly recommends purchasing travel insurance, to protect the guests in the event of unforeseen circumstances such as; interruption of travel due to weather, personal emergency or illness.

No Pets permitted unless specifically approved in advance by Lessor and payment of additional security deposit to Lessor as agreed to in advance.
Absolutely no smoking permitted inside home. Cigarette butts, cans, bottles, and other trash shall be properly disposed of and not left in yard, or beach area.
Lock golf cart with steering wheel lock when not in use as all club car keys are same.
Return cell phone and charger to caretaker at check out.
Wear lifejackets provided when using kayaks, wash with fresh water and put up when done.
Do not commit or allow any unlawful, improper, or offensive use of the Property.
Household items (Bluetooth speaker, towels, utensils, games, etc.) are not to be removed from the Property.
Please wash off sand from feet in wash out areas by sidewalk before entering home, POOL, or patio.
Please turn off a/c and all lights when not in use.
Upon departure, return keys to caretaker. Lost keys will cost $45.00 each.
MUST BE 18yrs OLD TO OPERATE GOLF CART.
All weddings on a Gecko Property are subject to additional charge and must be booked in advance.
