Snorkelers and divers usually share lunch together on the beach during a break in dives. Captains and dive masters are PADI certified and very experienced in leading groups of Snorkelers and Divers in these clear waters. Open Water Scuba Dive Certification and Discover Scuba Courses

A PADI Open Water Dive is recognized worldwide, so you can dive any time, any place, anywhere. A course consists of a healthy dose of theory; one or more dives to hone your newly learned skills and 4 actual boat dives divided over two days, on the reefs around Placencia. For the Discover Scuba Course, your PADI instructor will explain the basics of diving to you before you head into the pool to learn some new and exciting skills. Afterwards you go out on the boat and make a dive with your instructor, in one of the most beautiful oceans in the world, the Caribbean.

Inshore or Offshore Fishing Tours

Is there a better place to fish? Not when you start out in Placencia. Troll inside the many reefs for snapper, barracuda, jack, and yellow tail or fly fish the atoll flats for bone fish or permit. For an all-day adventure, there are many deep sea fishing charters with great reviews to choose from. There is even great fishing in the lagoon too. Bring your own equipment or rent from the any of the experienced guides.

Day and Sunset Sailing Tours

Tours typically begin lagoon side and head for the exciting blue waters of the reefs and cayes. Day Tour Snorkelers will explore from one of the island beaches while the Divers embark on the first of their two dives. Enjoy a leisurely cruise with the trade winds blowing and crystal clear waters. Sunset Tours leave from marinas in the late afternoon to sail to catch the beautiful sunset over the Maya Mountains. Typically snacks and cocktails are provided.
